David Toplas
Chief Executive - Mill Group
David established Mill Group in 1994 and developed the integrated fund management/asset management model for its PFI/PPP business.
Between 1988 and 1993, David gained much of his experience in residential property as a director in 24 unquoted public limited companies with a market value of approximately £110m.
A chartered accountant, David and his colleagues built the Mill Group business, of which he is the Chief Executive and also Chairman of the asset management business.
Simon Phillips
Director - Mill Group
Simon joined Mill Group in 1999 and was the lead Director for business development and origination, bidding and winning a number of high profile projects in the PFI/PPP business.
In conjunction with David Toplas, Simon has developed the Investors in the Community initiative and been involved in fund raising for successor funds.
Before joining Mill Group, in 1989 after completing his MBA Simon joined leading management consultancy, Newchurch & Company Limited, rapidly rising to joining the Board.
Tony Norris
Managing Director - Mill Finance
Tony was previously the managing director of Partnership Incorporations Limited (“PIL”) and has 18 years of practical experience in the launch and continuing management of CIS’s.
Tony is a chartered accountant who has assisted with the raising of considerable amounts of investment capital from both institutional and private investors and possesses a very detailed knowledge of the technical and compliance issues involved in launching and operating CIS’s.
Paul McCutcheon
Director - Mill Finance
Paul started his working life at Morgan Stanley in the UK working on the fixed income floor. He has since worked in the Private Equity real estate industry with a specialism in the Middle East, Asia and the Americas.
Most recently Paul was head of real estate for Asia and the Americas for Fleming Family and Partners and Managing Director for a private equity firm based in Abu Dhabi investing on a global basis.
Paul has headed up and assisted with the raising of considerable amounts of investment capital from both institutional and private high net worth’s across different sectors.
Mark Hardaway
Managing Director - Mill Residential Investment Management
Mark has previously held international senior management positions in the property, management consultancy and IT industry.
Mark is a chartered accountant who has held senior financial management positions and is well versed in efficient and effective systems and business process best practice and service delivery.
Mike Wisgard
Marketing Director - Mill Residential Investment Management
Mike has been CEO and Director of major, award winning marketing, advertising and communication agencies for over 20 years.
His experience of launching major consumer brands will help Mill Residential Investment Management become the premier co-investment brand in the market.
Tom Symes
Chief Executive - Mill Asset Management
Tom joined Mill Group in 2001 with responsibility for legal and commercial matters for the Norwich Union PPP Fund and the IIC Funds I & II.
Tom is now the Chief Executive of Mill Asset Management Group.
Paul Cartwright
Managing Director - Mill Asset Management
Paul joined Mill Group in 2000 as Commercial Director and led the close process on a number of PFI schemes for the Norwich Union PPP Fund and the IIIC Funds I & II.
Paul is currently the Managing Director of Mill Asset Management Group.
